I love both of these classic beautiful names but which one would you pick?

Grace 💖💖

itsgettingweird · 17/01/2021 09:41

I'd go for Alice Grace - both are beautiful names

ParisJeTAime · 17/01/2021 10:35

Oh really difficult! I really like both.

I think, on balance, Grace might be more timeless, so think I'd go with Grace. Ha, go with grace sounds like the end of a church service!

Frodont · 17/01/2021 10:36

Alice. By miles.

GoodbyePorpoiseSpit · 17/01/2021 10:37

Alice - such a beautiful name

MadCatLadee · 17/01/2021 10:42

Alice or Alys.

Alarae · 17/01/2021 10:51

Alice.

Grace was used as our middle name though. I know its overused as a middle but it just flowed beautifully so eh.

Plus I'm not one to care about name popularity as my DD's first name is top 15 Grin

Did you not like the answers you got last time?

I'm asking again, because I'm unclear and naming a baby is a big decision. Is that a problem?

I like Alice more. Grace is a difficult one if the dd turns out not to be graceful in any way.

CeeceeBloomingdale · 17/01/2021 11:28

It's rather odd to have two threads the same, why not just bounce the previous one? It would have been nice if you'd returned to the original thread and thanked people for their opinions. So yes, to me it is a problem as I wasted my time offering you help first time around which you didn't even acknowledge.

LaBellina · 17/01/2021 11:28

Definetly Alice ! Beautiful classic name.

Grace is pretty too but a bit too American and sweet for my taste.

Pudding01 · 17/01/2021 11:34

Quite a similar feel for me... Alice Grace could work, then you get both?

Boyorgirl3 · 17/01/2021 11:41

Alice Grace, beautiful. X

Meredusoleil · 17/01/2021 11:43

Whichever you go for, keep the other for a future little sister!

Cattenberg · 17/01/2021 11:44

I’d go for Alice. Virtue names can be a lot to live up to. I’m not graceful and neither is my DD.

Arrierttyclock · 17/01/2021 11:47

Alice

Passiveobserver · 17/01/2021 11:53

Alice definitely

dancingturnip · 17/01/2021 19:12

Alice or Alicia

DramaAlpaca · 18/01/2021 02:43

Alice by a long way.

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 19/01/2021 10:33

Alice by a huge amount

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 19/01/2021 10:36

I once knew a very cool Grace who despised her name as she was not at all graceful, a total tomboy and very unfeminine, a bit laddish. The name seemed like a bit of a joke! There's always a risk with names like Grace, and Belle too... There's more but i cant think of them!

Spied · 19/01/2021 10:38

Love both.
I'm choosing Grace.

Grace185 · 19/01/2021 16:35

Naturally I’d choose Grace :)

Grace185 · 19/01/2021 16:36

Also I might add that all through my life I’ve just had people (mainly older) just smile and look relaxed when I say my name is Grace, followed by ‘what a beautiful name’. Have hear a lot more little ones being called Grace though
