Or any other suggestions you think I might like based on those? I really can't out my finger on the 'type' of names we like, seems completely random!!

Stella is a great name! Esther, Celeste, Anastasia all spring to mind with that one. Robyn is lovely. Zoe is nice too - also makes me think of Zara and Chloe.

Chilldonaldchill · 17/01/2021 09:29

I think they all sound very fresh strong names.
How about:
Hester
Estelle
Anneli
Freya
Merryn
Ffion
Clara

We have the exact same taste I love all these names!

orderingcalmingtea · 17/01/2021 16:03

I think your type is Ted's girlfriends in HIMYM

Jemimapuddleduk · 17/01/2021 16:05

2 of those were on our list. Others we liked:
Sylvie, Iris, Joy, Rosa (lind/Lyn/mund/lie), Gloria, Margot, Estelle.

finallychangedmyusername · 17/01/2021 16:07

I like all of these, Zoe is my favourite.

Other suggestions (I think your style is consistently liked/used but never very popular and feminine without being too dainty or delicate):

Zara or Sara
Louise
Lara
Hannah
Fiona
Erin
Ellen
Anna
Rachel
Tess/Tessa

Astrid. Lois.

Zoe and Stella are great. They suggest to me ancient origins, but with greater use in the last 30ish years. So, a name with history that feels modern.

Clara
Athena
Gemma
Aster
Lyra
Chloe
Phoebe
Selena
Luna
Cara

Stella is great. Also like Robin but spelt straight up. Not so keen on Zoe.

Lois
Ines
Lara
Seren
Jessie
Orla
Anna
Ffion

Of the 3 it's no contest for me - Stella is by far the most beautiful imo.

While I've never liked Zoe, it does kind of fit with Stella - in that it's a name with ancient roots and well used over the years. Robyn doesn't match the other two to me in feel, it a more modern nature name but feels dated imo (particularly with the Y).

Names similar to Zoe and Stella in feel to me:
Cassia (also has nature roots like Robin, but classical like Zoe/Stella)
Iris (as above)
Xanthe
Ianthe
Viola
Lara
Freda
Thea/Theia
Thalia
Eve
Nina
Anna
Emma
Alva
Dahlia
Imogen
Tamsin
Maeve

I can't get past the association of Stella from the drink and it sounds a bit like one of my cockney nan's friends to me. I love both Zoe and Robyn. Maybe you just like 2 syllable names / short names!

How about:
Hazel
Violet (Vivi)
Rose (Rosie)
Etta
Harriet (Hattie)
Cora
Marnie
Halle
Kate
Alice
Naomi

Passiveobserver · 17/01/2021 19:36

Robyn

unmarkedbythat · 17/01/2021 19:46

Zoe
Amy
Zara
Chloe
Emma

Wouldn't ever have grouped Zoe with Stella or Robyn.

Wigeon · 17/01/2021 19:48

I know sisters called Zoe and Stella! Sister is called Maria. All under 10.

BikeRunSki · 17/01/2021 19:52

I know a mother and daughter called Zoe and Stella!

EileenGC · 17/01/2021 20:27

I've never really taken to Stella but Zoe and Robyn are beautiful. Have you decided on/will you be having a middle name? Zoe Stella is a great combination.

PortalooSunset · 17/01/2021 22:31

Out of your 3 I'd go for Stella.

If I'd had a girl she would have been Dorothy Joan.
