The chiara I know is Italian and pronounces it key-ara.

Key ara as others said already. This was on my shortlist but dd ended up with Clara as a middle name instead. Family link.

I know one a lot of people get it right but some clearly assume it's a fancy way of spelling Ciara because Chiara is not the most famous Italian name. I prefer Clara, it's easier.
