Hi all,
Looking for some urgent help here, our third little lady is due at the end of next month and hubby and I are really struggling to agree on a name, we haven't been able to agree on any names at all and I'm starting to panic as we've always had a few options by this point in the pregnancy. Our two beautiful girlies are called Hallie Rea and Lillia Mea, yes very similar and I really would like their little sister's name to work just as well all together, our last name is Chamberlain!
Thanks in advance, Chloe Smile

Mollie Bea
Melanie Thea
Nuala Leah

PolarnOPirate · 08/01/2021 17:29

Middle name (assuming they're pronounced to rhyme with Mia):

Pia
Nia
Leah
Sia

Hallie, Lillia and
Lola
Nina
Polly
Keira
Everley
Rylie
Alicia

Just a random bunch of vowell-heavy names for you! I think Hallie, Lillia and Alicia go really nicely actually.

Or Willow

(Not a name I'd normally suggest, but think Hallie, Lillia and Willow works quite nicely).

Cassia
Myla
Stella

I think Willow Kea works best - same double LL in the first name but different ending to Hallie and Lillia, so it's not too "samey". And Kea works whether you are pronouncing it "kay" or "kia", the same as her sisters middle names. I don't know how you would choose a name if you had a fourth daughter though!

Oh is it pronounced like Rae/May/Fay?

blessedmamaforever · 08/01/2021 21:06

@PolarnOPirate

Oh is it pronounced like Rae/May/Fay?

Yes! I've never loved those spellings tho (that's why we chose the spellings Rea and Mea for our older girls)

Myla is very pretty, but it is also the name of a posh lingerie shop. It depends on whether that connection bothers you (it may not be an issue.)

Tweetypietwo · 08/01/2021 22:41

Talitha or Thaila ?

lalalalands · 08/01/2021 22:41

Fea means ugly in Spanish 😬 Just so you're aware!

Enidblyton1 · 08/01/2021 22:48

Cassia or Talia?

I really wouldn’t chose Fea for the middle name.

Jessbow · 08/01/2021 23:19

Fea...like Thea? or like 'scared'

maddsclairelouise · 09/01/2021 00:00

Eleri
Elodie

Fei / Fay

SmeleanorSmellstrop · 09/01/2021 03:26

Fea isnt pronounced 'Fay', it would be said like 'Fee-uh' so if your other middle names are pronounced like 'Ray' and 'May' then they wont rhyme, if thats what your after. But then Mea also isn't pronounced 'May', but like 'Mia', and Rea is said like 'Ria', so this is all a bit confusing!

Fea is really not very nice - like a PP said, it means ugly in Spanish, is very close to 'fear', and sounds like someone who can't pronounce Thea properly. I really think you'd struggle to get people to pronounce it like Fay, too.

Myla is not very nice, it is really common and overused, and also a bit 'downmarket' whereas Hallie and Lillia are classier. I agree with PPs that Willow is the best first name as it will keep with a theme - the double l, but with a different ending sound. Or Juno would also sound lovely with the sibling names but I don't know if it is matchy enough for you - although it goes much better than Myla in my opinion.

Aquamarine1029 · 09/01/2021 03:36

Farrah Chamberlain

RavingAnnie · 09/01/2021 04:24

Did you not mean Mae and Fae and Rae?

They could be definitely pronounced May Fay and Ray and an alternative to the more traditional spelling.

Mea etc can only be pronounced Me-uh. At a push you could pronounce it Mee as in Meakin but that really is pushing it. Can't see how Mea can be pronounced May. The letters are all wrong.

butterrcups · 09/01/2021 05:02

Myla is pretty
