I'm currently working on my family tree and the name Kezia and Keziah keep popping up in Victorian times. I think it's a lovely name and actually sounds quite modern.

I find it really interesting that it never became popular again...

Do you like it.. or is it just me?

The correct pronounciation is 'Kez-eye-uh' which i like less than 'Kez-ee-uh'. I love biblical names, especially the rare ones, and I WANT to like this name but there's something about it that just seems a bit... Rough? To me? It's the 'kez' sound I think

Really not keen. It sounds chavvy to me, maybe based on nothing more than the Kez- part (reminds me of people shortening Kelly to Kez).

Lots of Kezia/Keziah in my family tree as well. I like it.

I know of one, the daughter of an old colleague - pronounced Kez ee ah.
