We had a baby boy yesterday and have narrowed it down to two names....Riley and Mason.

What goes with his big brothers Bailey name?

Any thoughts on either? Just can't decide!

Congratulations, you must be over the moon! I think Mason goes best with Bailey.

joystir59 · 06/01/2021 15:45

Mason! Congratulations!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 06/01/2021 15:49

Don't like either names really. However I'd go with Mason. Its got the same vibe as Riley but a completely different sound. Riley and Bailey are too much alike in sound and vibe.

Calmondeck · 06/01/2021 16:05

Congrats on your new baby! How exciting! I think Riley is a far far better name than Mason. The recurring -ey sound isn’t great for both kids. But I’d much rather be a Riley than a Mason.

IggyAce · 06/01/2021 16:08

I prefer Riley to Mason but having dcs called Riley & Bailey sounds like a law firm to me, they are too alike. Based on that I’d choose Mason or go back to your short list.

emmathedilemma · 06/01/2021 16:15

Mason goes better with Bailey.

Cinderellashoes · 06/01/2021 16:16

I prefer Mason with Bailey, but don’t really like Mason or Riley to be honest. Bailey is nice!

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 06/01/2021 16:18

Oh sorry I thought your son was called Riley. My opinion still stands though

FluffyEggsontoast · 06/01/2021 16:37

Mason

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 06/01/2021 16:57

Of the two Mason, because Riley sounds too similar to Bailey. What about Flynn, Macsen or Maxwell? (similar style to Mason but a bit less popular/trendy?)

Kanaloa · 06/01/2021 17:10

Congrats! Both nice but would choose Mason. Bailey & Riley are a bit matchy although both nice names. Bailey & Mason sounds nicer to me.

YoniAndGuy · 06/01/2021 17:18

Not a fan of either but Riley is too similar to Bailey.

Firebird83 · 06/01/2021 17:48

Mason

Zofloratheexplora · 06/01/2021 19:33

Both are fine. Wait and see what he looks like?

IckleBear · 06/01/2021 20:08

Mason

DueMay2021 · 06/01/2021 20:55

Congratulations I prefer Riley but Mason goes better with Bailey

DramaAlpaca · 06/01/2021 20:57

We don't have the same taste in names but Mason goes better with Bailey.

percheron67 · 06/01/2021 21:02

Dear God - not Mason - sounds like a partner in a building firm. Riley was the name of my Granny's Jack Russell ! As you have named one son after an alcoholic drink I suppose you could call him Jack Daniels.

starfire88 · 06/01/2021 22:27

Both lovely. I feel like Riley will get muddled up with big brother Bailey, so my vote is for Mason.

Congratulations!

AriesTheRam · 06/01/2021 22:31

Mason. Its my ds name so I'm biased.

sproutburger · 06/01/2021 22:33

Definitely Mason. Riley and Bailey sound too similar.

And...congratulations!

MercyBodle · 07/01/2021 00:11

Mason

maddsclairelouise · 07/01/2021 01:49

Congratulations gorgeous! Such exciting news! I think Mason goes best with Bailey xx

bigbird1969 · 07/01/2021 01:49

mason

Sausagedog1 · 07/01/2021 23:43

I think with Bailey I would choose Mason. Congrats!
