Violet or Primrose? Which one do you prefer?

definitely violet.

Violet. Primrose sounds a bit uppity to me.

Violet is more of a 'name'. But I like primrose too. I like the nickname 'primmie' or 'prim'.

Violet by a mile, even though I'm not mad on it.

The 'Prim' bit of Primrose is very offputting and quite unattractive.

I dislike both, sorry - can't get past the dowdy "Prim" sound or the very similar "Violent". I don't suppose I can sell you on pretty, classic Rose or the elegant, Shakespearean Viola?

If I had to chose between them, then I'd go for Violet since it's fairly popular (so I guess there are plenty of people who do like the name).

Primrose. Not my favourite name but I really dislike the sound of Violet.

Primrose. Violet is very overrated, geriatric sounding and looks like Violent.

I love both. Primrose is a bold choice though, as it's not often used and seems to divide people. I think it's gorgeous though. Violet is also lovely and the safest choice.

I am so beyond sick of stupid comments that if you change / add in 1 letter it becomes this or that.... the same could happen for most names! I think if you see or imagine “Violent” rather than a beautiful flower association, that says far more things about the worrying state of your mind than this beautiful name!

I don’t like either sorry. I’ve never liked Violet although it is popular on here.
