Hi ladies, I'm really struggling with names for baby number 2. I think DH & I are set on a girls name however I cannot fathom a boys name I like at all. We had one name we loved which DS1 is now named. How do people find other names they like. I feel it'd always be a second choice.

I bought a book and we each made a list and then narrowed down from there till we had about 6 and waited to see what fitted

I have 3 girls and our first was the name we always wanted to use so yes it felt onitlaly with our second that we'd cheated her a little by not having a name we liked as much. Now it doesn't matter

Maybe it's a girl 😁.

We couldn't agree on a boys name for #1 and luckily it was a girl.

If you tell us some girls names you like maybe we can suggest some boys in a similar style?

If you tell us DS1's name, then people can suggest names that are a similar style you might like.

DS1 is Charlie. Girl would be Olivia. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Do you have any family names you love?

My mother's cousin had 7 kids. Boy 1 and Girl 1 got her favourite names. By #5 they were just using family names. #7 didn't even get a middle name
