Not a fan of Julius personally (I don't hate it but the first thing that comes to mind is Caesar) but I do like Jules.

Having said that if you like a name go for it! The only people you need to please are you, partner if applicable and baby

Reminds me of two books/series: one from 20+ years ago about a cute chimp of that name and the more recent Julius Zebra. Both charming books and a lovely name - I'd go for it!
