Reuben?

I’m due in early jan and am trying to finalise baby names. The name that I keep coming back to is Reuben, I love it and the nickname Reu. I just wanted to see what others opinions are. My DD is called Isla, and I think they go nicely together

Nice name but people will spell it wrong . My friend has a Reuben nickname Ru

I like it! Always reminds me of the drunk guy in Black Beauty but that's a very niche association I've known Reubens who go by the nickname Reubs, it's a good name.

Oh all positive so far! I’m not too bothered if people spell it wrong, I have a very common name that’s easy to spell and it always gets spelled wrong

I love it. My friend spells her Reuben's nickname as Roo which is lovely too.

I like it. I think it fits really well with Isla.
I don't love Jace as a middle name personally (I prefer longer middle names so would go for Reuben Alexander or Reuben Theodore myself) but it sounds fine.

I'm not a fan of Reuben but it does generally seem well liked. I much prefer Rufus and Rupert. I don't like Jace at all.

I love Reuben but I don’t think it goes with Jace, which has a much more modern feel. Maybe Jason? It’s due a revival!

It's OK. Although I have seen it spelled Ruebun which makes me smile for no real reason!

It just makes me think of the (disgusting) sandwich.
