Emmeline or Emilia?

Which one do you prefer? Nn would be Emmy.

I love Emmeline and I would not shorten it. Why give her such a gorgeous name and shorten it? She'll shorten it herself soon enough. I would encourage her to be confident in her name while she is young. And don't let the teachers shorten it either, they always bloody do this to my son.

Emmeline. I really like it and it is refreshing amongst all the Emily/Amelie/Amelia names.

Emmaline but I'm biased as it's my DD's name (named after my DM).

Emilia, it was on my list although I went for something similar I'm the end. It will be heard as Amelia though. However Emmeline will bring out the leen and line pronunciations which would really irritate me more.
