Just for fun, no baby incoming from me Grin
What are your favourite Christmas-related names?

Mine:
Girls: Ivy, Noelle, Natasha (apparently means "birthday of Jesus Christ" in Russian)
Boys: Gabriel, Rudolph (I'd never use this one sadly!), Nicolas

Christmas-related names have no cut off! I love Gabriel as a boys name. I'd use it at any time of the year.

As someone who has a Christmas birthday I can only ask people do not give your children a Christmas name, having no birthday is punishment enough!

Robyn, Noel, Mary.

Have a niece called Starr. I object to both the name and the stupid spelling but I don't have to live with it Grin

Not a suggestion, but in the town I grew up there was an elderly man actually named Santa. He was in his 80's when I was a child back in the 1970's.

I went to school with somebody called Noelle, it's a lovely name. I've also heard Noelia. Other girls' names could include: Mary, Maria, Josephine, Gabrielle, Seraphina, Holly, Ivy, Winter, December, Angelica, Star (or Stella or Nova) for the star...

Boys' names... Gabriel, Joseph, Noel, Caspar or Balthasar (Melchior is probably a step too far!), Nicholas (for St Nick!)... I have even met a boy called Christmas!

Pudding01 · 17/12/2020 16:53

Grin I like the urban legend of Russel Sprout too! Could be twisted to be Christmassy?

I love Christmas names! I've always held it against my in-laws that they didn't give my brother-in-law (born on Christmas day) a themed name Grin

I do know a baby born in December given a Christmas name, Ivy but it is spelled Ivey. No idea why there's an e in there.
