So we have a baby boy on the way and really can't decide on a name.
We already have a Max, and the names I like are -

Milo
Austin
Leo.

What do people prefer, or any other suggestions welcome!

I'd say Leo is the best with Max.

Leo works best with Max - both short, simple and quite classic. Milo and Austin are quite trendy in comparisn to Max and may date more.

Other similar suggestions that work with Max: Jack, Zack, Adam, Owen, Sam(uel).

I love Austin. My uncle who just turned 90 is an Austin.

I agree that Leo goes best with Max. I like Austin too. Milo is more faddy and will date.

DD came along recently, but I think if we had another DS I would look at slightly longer names. Congrats!

Another vote for Leo. It's a perfect name for all ages and stages. I also think Max and Will, Max and Sam, Max and Lochie.

August is similar to Austin and I think it is nicer. I wouldn't go for Milo as you already have a Max so would be M&M
