Final name - thoughts?

I think we might have finally settled on Annabel Elizabeth for our baby due in 8 weeks. What do you think? Bit of a mouthful or OK because people rarely say both names together. We would probably call her Bel for NN and she could be Anna when she's older if she prefers.
Totally different style of name but second favourite is probably Elsie and she may suit this more when she's born.
Which do you prefer of these 2 names?

Beautiful and classic. I know an Annabel who shortens to Annie.

TeddyBeans · 10/12/2020 07:22

Are you planning to announce both names whenever you talk about/to her? Because being a mouthful is really a non issue if you're not saying her whole name the whole time.

Annabel Elizabeth is a lovely name

PintOfBovril · 10/12/2020 07:29

Really beautiful. I love it.

Beautiful

Annabel Elizabeth is lovely. I like Elsie too, but not as much - Annabel is so versatile as you've pointed out.

At a pinch you could use Elsie for a nn too as it's a short form of Elizabeth. I know kids who are called lots of different versions of their name, the formal name and various nicknames used by different family and friends. It all works!

WiseOwlWan · 10/12/2020 08:17

Love it!

Lovely OP. Congratulations & good luck.

ILoveStickers · 10/12/2020 08:23

Great choice - I like that spelling of Annabel too.

Alotlikechristmas · 10/12/2020 09:44

I like it and I prefer Annabel, too.

florascotia2 · 10/12/2020 09:58

Annabel Elizabeth is very nice.

But - perhaps I misunderstood? - you surely can't be thinking of 'Elsie Elizabeth' because Elsie is a short form of Elizabeth; that would mean the same name twice.

Annabel Elsie is OK but I think Annabel Elizabeth is nicer.

MikeUniformMike · 10/12/2020 18:48

It's nice. Middle names hardly get used so the el El won't be noticeable.

Absolutely beautiful OP Smile
