Hey guys, would love to hear your thoughts on my girl/boy sibset:
Elowen nn Ellie and Atticus nn Attie Smile

Thinking of adding a third to the mix — what names do you think would go nicely?

P.S. our last name is Eaves

Ellie a bit overused, Winnie?
Attie, not overly feeling it as a nn either.

Any reason can't just call them Elowen and Atticus, letting over time a more natural nickname to develop? I do like the names.

Huh? Do you have these children already? Are you planning another baby just for the sake of naming it?

Elowen / Atticus / Ottilie / Fabian

Elowen is pronounced like El-OH-en.

Cornish, like Welsh, is a Brythonic language so the emphasis is on the penultimate syllable. The en sound is like the en in pen, when and hen

Ellie and Elle are logical nicknames to me although I don't think Elowen necessarily needs to be shortened - it's a beautiful name. www.britishbabynames.com/blog/2018/07/name-of-the-week-elowen.html#:~:text=Elowen%20is%20a%20modern%20Cornish,share%20a%20common%20cultural%20heritage.

Atticus is nice too although it feels quite different in style to Elowen.

If you like Cornish names how about Yseld, Lowenna and Merryn? Jago, Jory, and Massen?

Sibset 🤢

Had to Google 'sibset'. Twee I'm afraid.

Are you expecting? Are these real siblings, twins, ideas for the future? The names are fine as such. Agree with PP, don't shorten them, keep full name and nn will develop naturally over time. Or use the full names which are nicer than the nn.
