Am i just overthinking it, or would a girl called Willow be bullied ....for example, Pussy Willow? Or Willy...... Or is that just me being overly worried?

She might be, bit then Jenny night get bullied for being fat or Laura for wearing glasses or Dyrwfvhdzt for having a made up name or all five Olivia's for having the same name.

I think it's a lovely name

It's a gorgeous name, it's a shame it's so popular. However Willow's popularity is precisely the thing that means pussy willow jokes are unlikely to happen, the same with Willy jokes (after all most William's don't get Willy teasing either, because it's a common name). You are worrying about it unnecessarily - I'd be more concerned that there might be another Willow in her class!
