Hi, do you like the name Bella? Do you know of many? Unsure on it but I love the sound. Belle is also lovely but maybe a bit too Disney.

Lovely

mumduty · 02/12/2020 22:48

I love that name :) I only know one Bella and one Isabella :) it's really a pretty name
I think and I always imagine all the Bella's are going to grow up into elegant ladies and do ballet in their spare time whilst running a law firm 😄

joystir59 · 02/12/2020 22:58

Twilight Saga. So no.

Peppafrig · 02/12/2020 22:59

My dog is called Bella and I’m sorry to say we have met a few more dogs called that out on our travels. But I do love the name .

Osteomancer · 02/12/2020 23:01

It's funny but Bella is a 'fat name' to me (possibly Bella emberg???)

Isabella is not

HirplesWithHaggis · 02/12/2020 23:04

I (58) had a great aunt Bella, she was brilliant. :D

Ellmau · 02/12/2020 23:13

Isabella or Arabella or Annabella are all lovely.

Bella on its own feels a bit incomplete.

RoseMartha · 02/12/2020 23:14

I like it

HillaryWhitney · 02/12/2020 23:16

Boring

Miljea · 02/12/2020 23:28

Isabella, Arabella.

Izzy or Arri; or Bells

Not just Bella.

annonymousse · 02/12/2020 23:34

Bella is a dogs name. We meet loads of doggy Bellas when we walk our Bella. Having said that I feel the same about poppy (previous dog) and that's been popular for a while.

SionnachRua · 02/12/2020 23:36

I know of loads! It's fine, there's nothing wrong with it per se but it just feels a bit generic. Kind of like a female version of Ben.

I really dislike Isabella though - Izzy is Envy

DramaAlpaca · 02/12/2020 23:36

I know three dogs called Bella and zero humans.

Lardlizard · 02/12/2020 23:37

I like it

Porridgeoat · 02/12/2020 23:38

Belle is lovely. Not keen on Bella

Sausagedog1 · 04/12/2020 16:31

Boring now. So many Bellas, Isabella's Arabellas Annabellas, lots going by Bella.

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 04/12/2020 17:53

I prefer it as a nn for Isabella or Arabella, it gives the child more options. Bella or Belle on it's own seems to be very popular for dogs where I live for some reason!

ILikeStrongTea · 04/12/2020 18:07

Boring and it doesn’t feel like a proper name. Or it’s a dog’s name.

PeskyRooks · 04/12/2020 18:15

I really like it although I do know a border collie one.
It is a Jilly Cooper book I used to love when I was a teenager too.
Middle name could be Donna. Very dramatic!

lakesideadvent · 04/12/2020 18:19

Bella is a pleasant name but quite heavily used around us.
