Currently have a Joseph (Joe)
Shortlist for second boy currently:

Daniel
Harry
Thomas (Tom)
Benjamin (Ben)

Surname begins with B so not sure if the alliteration would be too much..

Other suggestions welcome - thanks so much!

Were you considering Henry or just using the nickname (Harry)? Asking as you are using the full name for Joe/Joseph, Tom/Thomas, Ben/Benjamin.

I second the suggestions of Matthew and Peter.

What about:

Michael, Benedict or Nathan?

Of your choices, Thomas is my fave (Tom and Joe sound perfect together - I know two brothers named this). But Thomas is quite popular, so Daniel would be my second choice - it also goes well with Joseph.

I'm not too keen on popular Harry (prefer as a nn for Henry), and although I like alliterative names I prefer the sound of Benedict over Benjamin personally.

I'm guessing you've considered Samuel? Sam and Joe sound great, and Samuel is currently not that popular.

I love alliterative names, but sadly couldn't use one as we have a bit of a comedy surname anyway so they all sounded like a joke or a children's TV character.

Benjamin is a brilliant name. Ben will never date 🙂
