I think of a cheese. Sorry!

wowfudge · 19/11/2020 22:33

Sounds like an air freshener to me - not a name I have heard before.

CoffeeRunner · 19/11/2020 22:35

Brioche.

I can see what PPs mean. It’s more a brand name than a person’s name.

helpmum2003 · 19/11/2020 22:35

It sounds American and made up. Sorry.

Loveatortie · 19/11/2020 22:35

Is it a boy or girls name?

CaramelTallulah · 19/11/2020 22:39

Girls.

Baby bel?
Braille?

Nell96 · 19/11/2020 22:41

Not a fan. Top of my list at the moment is Sabrina, which has a similar kind of sound. There's also Breanna and Aubrey.

PumpkinSpicedLatte · 19/11/2020 22:42

I like it. But I have a cousin in the states called Brielle so that’s probably why!

YoniAndGuy · 19/11/2020 22:42

No sorry. It’s presumably made up? Sounds like a product: something for cleaning. Is there not a loo roll called something like Brielle?

RaininSummer · 19/11/2020 22:42

Bit odd/cheesy. I do like Brianna tho having heard it on Outlander.

Changethetoner · 19/11/2020 22:43

nickname for Umbrella? It's a no from me.

user1493494961 · 19/11/2020 22:44

Also a no from me.

frolicmum · 19/11/2020 22:46

Brille means glasses in German.

pooopypants · 19/11/2020 22:55

Brillo

Please don't

JustanotherTuesday · 19/11/2020 22:58

I actually quite like it but I do prefer Arielle or Ariella.

Firebird83 · 19/11/2020 23:44

Better as a nn for Gabrielle

HipHipHooray7 · 19/11/2020 23:47

Honestly reminds me of Braille (as in the alphabet for the blind)

Sandcastles09 · 20/11/2020 06:02

I like it, also Brianna and Brienna

cloverbug · 20/11/2020 06:17

I like it! I remember there was a really sweet little girl on the Ellen show with that name.

Chilldonaldchill · 20/11/2020 07:59

Reminds me of a cheese. It does sound like a brand name.
I know it's reasonably popular in the States but I don't see its attraction at all.

MercyBodle · 20/11/2020 08:09

I don't like it. I do like Gabrielle, Brianna, Briar, Isabel, Brenna, for similar sounds.

Enko · 20/11/2020 08:24

I like it

TotalBitch · 20/11/2020 08:52

I love Elle names like Isabelle, Gabrielle and Gabriella. I also like Brie as a shortened version of some names.

Brielle isn't awful. It sounds as if it could be short for Gabrielle. But there is something a little bit feminine product / cleaning product about it maybe. I'm sure if I met one, I wouldn't think that though.

MikeUniformMike · 20/11/2020 15:11

Braille or a brie babybel
