Middle name for Naomi?

Hi All, after some opinions please!

We think our top name for the baby is Naomi, but unsure on middle name.
The main options are:
Alice - we both love this name, it's a family name for DH, his sister, aunt and granny are/were called Alice. We considered it for first name but since my brother's gf is called Alice we decided there were just too many!

Beatrix - I love this, DH not so keen. I wanted it as a first name and he vetoed it. I love the sound of the name and that it's quite "stately". I am also half Dutch and Beatrix was a dutch queen.

She will have my surname as a second middle name and DH's as a surname. Let's say they are "Ross" and "Bradford". (they're not but similar sounds).

So Naomi Alice Ross Bradford
or Naomi Beatrix Ross Bradford

I have an Alice (and have often considered Naomi!) and I think it goes beautifully with the rest of your name. Also I like that it has more personal meaning for you - Naomi Alice would be my choice!

@ineedbanoffee thanks! We'd happily have used Alice as a first name but I didn't think it was fair for her to be the 5th one in the family!

Esther comes to mind.

StripyTigerTail · 17/11/2020 16:25

I like Naomi Alice Ross Bradford best.

StripyTigerTail · 17/11/2020 16:35

Bradford-Ross or Ross-Bradford would also make quite a nice double barrel surname btw.

JustAnotherUserinParadise · 17/11/2020 16:41

@StripyTigerTail I actually changed it to the equivalent of "Bradford-Ross" when we got married, but after about 6m-1yr decided I didn't like it and have gone back! Decided if I don't like it for myself it's unfair to saddle the baby with it!

I think Alice goes better with Naomi.

Peachbubble · 17/11/2020 16:54

I like Naomi Alice best.

whatausername · 17/11/2020 18:14

Beatrix!

SionnachRua · 17/11/2020 19:22

Definitely Naomi Alice.

CharitySchmarity · 17/11/2020 21:54

Alice gets my vote.

DramaAlpaca · 17/11/2020 22:14

Alice for me.

Firebird83 · 17/11/2020 23:54

Alice

IdblowJonSnow · 17/11/2020 23:56

Naomi Bea.
I like Alice but don't think it goes quite as well.

gracefarrel · 18/11/2020 00:47

Go for Alice!

Sycamoretrees · 18/11/2020 00:53

Both are nice I think. Have you noticed that Naomi spelt backwards is I Moan?

JustAnotherUserinParadise · 18/11/2020 08:56

Bea is actually the nickname I liked when I suggested Beatrix as a first name!
Funnily enough DH's gran was Alice Beatrix.
Lol @Sycamoretrees I hadn't! We're pretty set on naomi though - we actually had the Bible reading where Ruth tells Naomi she won't leave her at our wedding!

Thats a good reason to choose the name, just thought it was a fun fact your DD might discover when she's older. Kids like to play with their names.
