Could you please tell me your favorite out of these boy names?

James
Daniel
Joseph
Alexander
Jack

My order of preference would be:

Jack
Alexander
James
Joseph
Daniel

But I would personally only use Jack or Alexander nn Lex

All are nice names, but Jack and Alexander (and its diminutives) have been very popular in recent years. I'd choose Daniel as my favourite from your list.

James

I just love it. The most classic boy name in existence I think.

Alexander

James and Jack I love, two classics that are on my list.

Joseph - this one is my favourite
Alexander - second favourite
Jack - third favourite
I like all these three.
James - sorry but I find it dull
Daniel - even duller

Joseph is my favourite from your list followed by Alexander

Love them all, James is least favourite.

Really think about whether you like the short names because they all lend themselves to a natural short name, except James.

All lovely. I personally love Joseph & Alexander the most, so strong and timeless. Daniel, Jack & James are really nice too.

Joseph - Love this. Love Joe, Joey, Joseph, Jos
Alexander - second favourite and would always say the full name as it’s fab.
Daniel - underused now I think

Jack is ok but has been very popular.
James I like least.

I like all of them, but here are my opinions, in the order I'd choose them:
James - would be my first choice even if you hadn't given a list
Daniel - like. Dan is nice too
Alexander - fine, but will be Alex. Sandy is ok, but I don't like Xander
Jack - know too many to use it.
Joseph - Joe and Jos(s) are fine

I like all of them, nice traditional names that won't date but:

1. Alexander - the most classical/elegant, always in the top 100 but doesn't feel over popular because there are so many different nicknames.
2. James - feels the most traditional, yet not old- fashioned as it's nearly always stayed in the top 20 - I also love the old nn Jem for it.
3. Jack - I don't usually like nicknames as given names but Jack somehow feels both friendly and kinda cool.
4. Daniel - I like it, but not so keen on Dan/Danny and personally prefer the similar Samuel or Michael.
5. Joseph - nice enough just not a particular fave.
