GEM initials

Generally we are trying to avoid initials spelling words, but are there any problems we have not seen with the initials GEM for a girl? I feel like they aren't offensive and she will be our little gem (if baby is a girl!).

I don't see a problem with it! Middle initials are rarely used anyway so people have to be looking to find a 'problem'.

As long as the initials don't spell something rude or teasable (and GEM isn't either), I don't think initials matter.
