Middle name for Tess

My other DD's middle names are Edith, Eleanor and Rose ...

Don't want to say their first names without outing myself! But any suggestions for Tess would be great.

I think Tess Elizabeth sounds lovely.

ineedbanoffee · 12/11/2020 19:57

Sorry for going awol - busy couple of days! Lovely suggestions here.

I like Tess Amelie, and I love the name Vivienne but DH isn't a fan. One of my DD's first names has also been mentioned.

I really love Tess Eliza and have long considered it, but I also think it sounds like a weapon in a Star Wars movie or something - the Tesselizer :/ :D i like Tess Elizabeth.

Tess Ophelia is pretty but maybe too much literary tragedy for one name!

I quite like Tess Emmeline and Tess Madeleine.

I've also been thinking about Tess Imogen, Tess Ottilie, Tess Abigail, Tess Olivia and Tess Aurora. I clearly have a thing for vowels! (My other three girls all have first names beginning with vowels, too)

... although, contrary to the above, I also like Tess Phoebe. Just not sure about flow.

... and Tess Aoife. All the vowels!

I sometimes overthink these things but if it was me I'd consider looking for a flower names to fit with Rose because the other girls both have E middle names.
I like:
Tess Clover
Tess Flora
Tess Iris
Tess Ivy
Tess Lilian

ineedbanoffee · 12/11/2020 22:34

Thanks! I like Tess Iris a lot and I have a grandmother called Iris - but I haven't honoured my other grandmother in any way and she's very much still alive and would be very much pissed off if I chose it! (Edith was the name of my DH's grandmother - the only one who wasn't alive when our DD1 was born).

I quite like Tess Ivy and I like the pairing of the middle names idea.

I love Tess, it's my mums name, she was born Teresa but hated it and had it officially changed to Tess 40 odd years ago.

Tess Amelie I like but the more I say it the more it sounds like a whole word on it's own IYCWIM, like disseminate.

Tess Matilda
Tess Chatlotte
Tess Emmeline
Tess Tickle (I'm pathetic)

mathanxiety · 12/11/2020 23:37

Tess Iris and Tess Aurora are veering a little close to thesaurus.
