From your list I like Kira, prefer the Kiera spelling.
I also like Kaia which is similar to your names but not on your list.

iwwntchocolate · 09/11/2020 04:45

@Bettyboo21 kaia looks nice how is it pronounced?

Kira

Bettyboo21 · 09/11/2020 05:16

It’s like Maia with a K. (Kye- a)

The first sound is the same as the first sound in Kite.

Firebird83 · 09/11/2020 21:56

I like Kira from your list, but I do like Kaia too.

RunningFromInsanity · 09/11/2020 22:03

Kia, Kaia, Kira

diddlediddle · 09/11/2020 22:06

Not on your list, but what about Kiri?

Japanese friend told me that (in her home region, anyway), the name is local term for Paulownia tree/ 'The Princess Tree'.

Historically, this tree was planted on the birth of a daughter, then used to carve into a special piece of furniture.Given as a gift on her wedding day, for taking to new home as a reminder of her roots.
Not sure if apocryphal!

From your options, I like Kira.

JemimaTiggywinkle · 10/11/2020 10:49

Kira (preferably Keira) is my favourite

NoddingTulip · 10/11/2020 11:06

@ZuzuMyLittleGingersnap In Maori (my native language) the name Kiri means skin or bark (as in tree bark or fruit skin). I think its used in Cambodia too and meaning is something to do with mountains

I like the sound of Kira from your list, but find K such a spikey harsh looking letter that it puts me off a bit I prefer Ciara.

YoniAndGuy · 10/11/2020 11:57

Kira or Keira are both nice

FluffyEggsontoast · 10/11/2020 12:28

Kira is nice

Changethetoner · 10/11/2020 12:42
