Emily Alexandra?

Thoughts on this name?
Love both, considered Alexandra Emily but as Alexandra is rather long I think its likely to be shortened to Alex which I don't like so much. Also considered Emma but I went to school with many Emma's and have two very close friends with this name so would like to avoid. I have a one syllable surname so flows well. Thankyou X

I’m normally a bit meh about traditional names but this is really lovely.

Lovely name. Emily. Remember you'll introduce her as Emily not Emily Alexandra so make sure you like Emily as is. I think you're right about Alexandra it will likely be shortened to Alex or Lexie etc.
