Narrowed my girls list down to Alice or Pippa..which would you pick?

Alice. Pippa is a nickname for Phillippa.

I don't like Pippa as a name, and as others have said, it has certain unfortunate meanings in other languages.

Also, I think that there was a costume doll called Pippa when I was a child (very long time ago), so I associate it with that. She was a Barbie alternative.

Alice is a beautiful classic name. Pippa is cute, but not even in the same league. Plus the unfortunate meanings in other European countries, as pps have mentioned.
