Help choose boys name

I feel like I've looked at every name possible. Gone through the top 100 names and nothing jumps out but I don't know if I'm looking at them with a clear head anymore. I really have looked at SO many!!! Harder to choose as we are the last of our friends to have a baby so lots of names have been used and we both work or have worked with children so there are some gorgeous names that we are already put off by lol!

We think our baby will probably have dark curly hair and either dark eyes after me or blue eyes after his dad. Definitely a chunky baby (we were both like mini Michelin men 😂) I'm trying to hard to envisage him being a name but I'm struggling to pick any. I'm hoping you can give us some suggestions? I don't want anything really rare or 'made up' sounding, something that's known but not heard all the time maybe.

Please help! 😬

Thanks for replying the three of you. Will go through your suggestions with DH. I always find I need to visualise the name and hear us using it first. Anyone else?! 😂

Don't look at the top 100 names.

Look at the top 300 instead and start somewhere in the middle.

Or look at top names for 100 yrs ago, then 90 yrs.... 10 yrs and see if there are any in all of them.

I saw Edgar on someone else's thread which I'd never contemplated before. I think Edgar would suit a curly haired little Mitchelin man!

Look outside the top 100 to be a little more unique. Here’s a list of top 1000 www.britishbabynames.com/blog/top-1000-names-in-england-and-wales-2018.html

There are so many lovely names!
Jude, Joel, Ezra, Joseph, Jonah, Joshua, Pascoe,
Milo, Max, Alban, Albie, Toby, Malachi, Lucas, Ned, Teddy,
Nelson, Sunny,.... take a look at the link

I expected my first dc to be long and slim like me (then) and exh and be dark in colouring as that is dominant and exdh was dark. I got the spitting image of Chairman Mao! Sorry to derail...you just reminded me.
