Hi, I am looking for a boy name for my first son. :-) I am from asian country, and live in US. We don't have middle name, my last name is ou.

Currently, I am considering

Daniel Ou
Caleb Ou
Gabriel Ou
Alex Ou
Eric Ou
Justin Ou
Brian Ou

Feel free to comment, if you had any suggestions

Thanks a lot.

My favourite of those, with your surname is Justin. I think the 'n' ending flows best with the surname. Brian seems too dated to me. As is Eric. Daniel, Caleb and Alex are all good names. Daniel is my 2nd choice with Ou. I'm not keen on Gabriel, but it works fine with surname.

I think you’re on the right lines, it definitely needs to end with a consonant sound. I’m not keen on Eric or Brian, sorry.

Angus
Joseph

Elliot
Dominic

@Fivemoreminutes1, thanks for your comments.

Did not consider Joseph and Dominic, looks like very cool.

Excluding eric/brian, in Daniel Ou, Caleb Ou, Gabriel Ou, Alex Ou, Justin Ou, what do you think

I don’t love them but I don’t hate them. If you love them, see what he looks like when he arrives and make the decision that way!

George
David

Daniel, Gabriel and Alex (Alexander) are my choices. All classic names that travel well.

Brian is seen as very dated and unfashionable in the U.K. at least.

Gabriel is a favourite of mine.
