Sister for Aria

I have a shortlist of names and would appreciate your opinions please! My Aria is pronounced with the short a like in Apple. My shortlist is

Seraphina
Iris
Ottilia
Annabel
Clara
Lysha
Lila

Seraphina - would choose a name that doesn't end with a
Iris - no, too similar sounding
Ottilia - see seraphina
Annabel - same first initial may be confusing with the post
Clara - yes
Lysha - no
Lila - no, too similar sounding

I like Annabel and Iris best, but agree with PP about initials on post!

My favourite to go with Aria from your list is Iris

Ottilia is my favourite. You could have 'Ottilie' if you wanted to avoid both names ending in A.

I think out of your list, Iris sounds best with Aria. Also, to add a new one, Erin is lovely too.

Erin does sound lovely with Aria.

I think Iris sounds best as it's also short and not popular like Lila which has the issue of whether it's pronounced like lilac without the c or Lee-la

I've hear of Ottilie but not Ottilia and would avoid Annabel because if you have #3 and their name doesn't start with A people will annoy you by suggesting A names in pregnancy

Lysha - is it Leesha or Lie-sha? Don't like the spelling

Seraphina love it was on our shortlist for dd3 but she didn't feel like a Seraphina

Iris pretty but nowhere near the league of Aria IMO

Ottilia I like it but unusual in the UK that Asia is not if that matters?

Annabel pretty but may become Anna and Anna and Aria are very similar in sound

Clara pretty

Lysha not keen on this

Lila pretty and goes well w Aria

OP says they pronounce it Ari-er. Otherwise Cadence also came to mind.

Noa Olivia sounds a bit like no Olivia.
Not a fan of seraphina, it sounds like a brand or shop name.
I love iris, unfortunately can’t use it as I know someone who has recently. I think iris annabel is lovely.
