I love Daisy. I don't like Ruby but I can see the appeal and the hype.
Id go with Daisy Marie rather than Daisy Jane which sounds like Daisy Chain

Strokethefurrywall · 16/10/2020 15:21

Ruby. Flower names for girls are too cutesy and massively overused.
At least Ruby is decent gemstone!

Strokethefurrywall · 16/10/2020 15:21

Oh and Ruby Marie is perfect!

MJMG2015 · 16/10/2020 15:22

Daisy Ruby ?

If not Daisy Marie

Garcellesaidwhaaat · 16/10/2020 15:32

The U of Ruby paired with the OO of Cooper is the only thing putting me slightly off Ruby in this instance. I think Ruby is a great name. To my ears it conjures warmth, enchantment and glamour. Howevurrr Daisy (to me) has a nicer feel with your surname.

PracticingPerson · 16/10/2020 15:36

Daisy but not with Marie due to the ee ee endings

Peachbubble · 16/10/2020 16:39

Daisy, not keen on Ruby.

janetmendoza · 16/10/2020 16:40

Ruby Marie!

formerbabe · 16/10/2020 16:40

Ruby Marie is a gorgeous name

sunflowers246 · 16/10/2020 16:41

I like Marie.

I'm not keen on either Ruby or Daisy.

formerbabe · 16/10/2020 16:41

Definitely not Daisy Jane, sounds like daisy chain!

Itsatoughgig · 16/10/2020 16:43

As a young girl Daisy is a lovely name, trying to get taken seriously as a adult in an interview or in the boardroom less so.

WonderMoon · 16/10/2020 16:55

Ruby is lovely. Ruby Marie sounds nice too.

TheSeedsOfADream · 16/10/2020 18:16

Ruby clashes with the surname.
It became about the most popular name in the UK about, what, ten years ago? During the Chloe and Ava phase. If that sort of thing bothers you.

Oneandabean · 16/10/2020 19:17

Daisy, it’s very pretty, I’m really not a fan of ruby

Firebird83 · 16/10/2020 19:19

I like Daisy Jane

Beamur · 16/10/2020 19:21

I know a few girls called Ruby, early teens - all awesome.
Daisy is lovely and just feels like a spring day to read (Daisy Jane doesn't work though). My only dislike of it is when it gets shortened to 'Daze'

User27aw · 16/10/2020 19:24

I thought of the actor Daisy May Cooper.

AlyMcNabs · 16/10/2020 19:24

Daisy 😊

DrDetriment · 16/10/2020 19:25

Ruby is very east end pub landlady and Daisy is pretty for a 3 year old but terrible for a would be banker or judge. Why not Marie with one of these as a middle name instead?

Reesewitherknife · 16/10/2020 19:30

I have a Ruby and although I still absolutely love the name I do wish I’d chosen something else as its very common. Personally not keen on Daisy.

ASimpleLobsterHat · 16/10/2020 19:40

Ruby.

To me daisy is always Daisy the cow. Or Daisy from keeping up appearances. Admittedly her friends won’t have either of these references Grin

Lemonsyellow · 16/10/2020 19:45

I like Ruby. I’m less keen on Daisy.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/10/2020 19:48

Daisy

MikeUniformMike · 16/10/2020 20:01

Of the two Daisy, but Daisy Marie is a bit hmm and Daisy Jane might be a bit too similar to daisy chain. Of the names I would choose Jane as a first name, prob. Marie as a mn.
