If we like these boy names

Our list at the moment is quite varied. I really love one syllable names. DH has been sporty all his life and I think worries more about what people will say about their name rather than whether he actually likes it himself. So it's tricky! Here's our names so far, would be great for some feedback and any other names you think we may like?

All the names on your list are fine - I’m not personally too keen on Fabian, Ralph and Kit though. I really like William and Edward, I think they’re the type of name that would suit any type of person. Miles and Joseph are also very nice.

Maybe Samuel, Thomas, Jonah, Emmett, Hugo?

I have a Miles so that gets my vote.

William is the best. Strong and masculine.
Ralph has been forever tainted by Judy Bloom, sorry.
I think Fabian. Nice sounding name but I’d say quite upper class. Could look like you’re trying to be something you’re not if you’re working class. I say that as someone who is working class.
Myles. Is more of a dog name to me.
Edward. Don’t like it personally but I’d still put it in the same category as William
I don’t like Jos. Joseph/ Joe is okay.
I don’t like Kit but I love Christopher. Would he be Christopher on her BC.

I really like Jos, it reminds me of a lovely guy from school who was known as Jos rather than Joe etc.

All of your names were on my list for DC3 so think we have similar taste. My DS is Hugo

I like Jos, Miles or Fabian best.

Out of them all I'd say Miles.
I have a Milo but don't like the association it has with Miles .

We had Rex on our list as DS's great grandfathers name.
We also had Axel and Leo.

Miles was top of our boy list, others on our list were:

Biased as we have a Myles but I love it and have had lots of compliments from people on it... the other boys name we considered was Max(imillian). I think Ralph and Joseph are quite nice from your list but probably joe as a nn rather than jos and also probably prefer Rafe to Ralph! Not too keen on Fabian. Other names I like are : Arlo, Milo, Finn, Felix

Not Ralph! That was our vomit-word growing up. We used to say we'd been on the porcelain telephone to Ralph.
