Which is your favourite?
Alice or Harriet

Love them both. Is there a middle name you like which would go better with one of them?

Ojj37 · 01/10/2020 10:27

Both lovely, but I have always just LOVED Alice, so that gets my vote.

bridgetreilly · 01/10/2020 11:08

Harriet.

Kanaloa · 01/10/2020 11:12

Both are lovely but I would choose Harriet since I don’t know any Harriets and I know a few babies/children called Alice.

ellenpartridge · 01/10/2020 13:12

Alice but both are nice

Whatsyourflava · 01/10/2020 13:14

Think Harriet wins .. just

mollyminniemo · 01/10/2020 14:00

Alice!

theotherfossilsister · 01/10/2020 14:59

Both gorgeous names and high on our list if we're ever lucky enough to have a baby. I think Alice, on balance, although I love the variations on Harriet (Harry, Hattie, Retty - she'd have so much choice.)

We also love Lucy, Manon and Laura.

Sojo88 · 01/10/2020 15:08

I much prefer Harriet

I love both but Harriet is my favourite.

StrawberryMice · 01/10/2020 17:17

Alice. I think it's so pretty for a little girl and it's cool as well as pretty for a grownup.

I like Harriet too very much, but it feels more of a serious/classical name, which Alice is too but also Alice is also cool/jaunty/modern, which I don't see Harriet as being. And Harriet will likely be shortened to Harry whether you like that or not Smile whereas Alice is likely to be always Alice.

Oneandabean · 01/10/2020 17:46

Alice

Glitterbubbles · 01/10/2020 17:50

Alice

Ajl46 · 01/10/2020 18:16

Harriet - it's classier and more unusual, plus it can be shortened to eg Hattie so is more flexible.

augustusglupe · 01/10/2020 19:48

I like both but prefer Harriet

Chattercino · 01/10/2020 19:49

Both are great names but I like Harriet most.

Alice

Chicchicchicchiclana · 01/10/2020 19:54

Harriet by miles.

Alice is the wishy-washiest girls name in the world, after Freya.

DramaAlpaca · 01/10/2020 20:06

I love both, please don't make me choose Grin

OK, if I had to choose I'd pick Harriet because it goes best with my own surname and because I adore the diminutive Hattie.

hopelessatthinkingupusernames · 01/10/2020 20:07

Definitely Alice!

ellentree · 01/10/2020 20:09

I like them both a lot! Sorry, not helpful.

paintmywholehousepink · 01/10/2020 20:15

Harriet!
