Short boys names

Trying to think of a name for our second son, due in a few weeks. Our list currently includes

Plus I quite like Jude and Otis but my husband doesn’t. We want to avoid anything with and ‘ie’ or ‘y’ ending.

The name Jake is a hazard warning for me, and I have heard a few teachers say the same thing. I imagine that parents start off with James or Jacob and that the baby comes out, kicks the midwife to the floor and storms around the labour ward swinging off the light fittings, and the midwife scrambles to her feet and says "call him Jake, just to give people a warning".
