Hi all,

This is my first time posting, however I have been a stalker of the site for many years. I am finally pregnant (albeit very early days) but am already thinking of names for little one. We have almost agreed on a potential boy name but girls are seeming more difficult.

My partner and his family have very unusual/uncommon names, I do like this, however also want to choose a name that is wearable and suitable for all ages.

We like Winter nn Winnie although I’m worried how this would be perceived on a baby born in spring?! I also like Cleo, Effie and Ivy. Partner is very keen on Navy but I feel this is too far.

Opinions and suggestions of similar styled names would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance:)

I think Winter for a spring baby is really odd.

I like Ivy.

I love Cleo out of your choices. Not sure I'd put Winter on a Spring baby. I also think Winnie is a completely different vibe to Winter but I see from here, that's the shortening so coule be just me.

I wouldn't like to have the name Navy personally so I wouldn't give it to a kid. Too open to jokes about sailors/are many men in you/able seamen/all aboard and a million others. Of course, most subjects can be joked about but navy as a name is just too obvious.

I like the Ivy Winter suggestion, Winnie is very on trend and Cleo is lovely.

Does your DH have any other suggestions?
