Please help narrow down our shortlist

Hello wise mumsnetters - please help!

We are expecting DC2 in December and really struggling with names. We had our DS's name so quickly and are finding girls names hard! What are your thoughts:

Anna (Annie) Mary
Hazel Mary
Robyn Mary
Mary Grace
Elizabeth (Betsy) Mary

Mary is a dear family name which we would like to include. We had really liked Hazel and Robyn but are slightly put off by the stratospheric increase in popularity in recent years (albeit from a low base).

Any other suggestions of similar themed names also much appreciated!

Like them all but to me Elizabeth Mary and Mary Grace sound like boats especially Elizabeth Mary. But I love both Hazel and Robyn but think Robyn goes better with Mary

Personally not keen on Robyn. Elizabeth Mary feels a bit too close to the Queen Mother and her MIL. I'm not sure Annie Mary and Betsy Mary work too much of the same sounding ending.

I love Robyn and wouldn't consider it too popular at all, I'd put in the well known but underused category.

Anna is also a beautiful classic, but I'm not keen on Annie as a nn.

Do you like Mary enough to use it as a first name?
If not then it’s going to be the middle name, so not used on a daily basis. It has to ‘go’ with the first name but I think Mary sits well as a middle name with many many other lovely names as a first name.

I love the name Mary.

Anna (Annie) Mary - I like Anna and Annie but use Anna or Ann nn Annie

@mylittleavalon @OhTheRoses I hadnt thought of the ship/royal thing, but you're both totally right!

I like all the names. Not as keen on Robyn but it's Ok.

@Chocolatecake12 I love the name Mary but have always liked the idea of DD having her "own" name with Mary as the middle name. That said, there aren't many people she could do better than sharing a name with than our family Mary and she's not around anymore so wouldn't be truly sharing. Sorry I know that's unhelpful! You've got my taste pretty much spot on - your suggestions are almost all names I have thought about and like!

I think Anna Mary & Hazel Mary are the nicest. They seem classic but also modern.

Love the names.

Robyn is the only one which will require spelling out on the phone etc.

Mary is my favourite. Elizabeth is the most flexible in terms of being able to choose her own shortening if and when fashions change.

I love Betsy, it's such a friendly name! Second favourite is Hazel, then Robyn. I don't like Anna.

Hazel Mary or Mary Hazel are my favourites.

I like Hazel Mary and Anna Mary.

I don't like Robyn much, and while Elizabeth is gorgeous Betsy is so twee.

I'm not keen on Mary Grace, it has a very religious feel to it.

Anna or Hazel for me.

Not a fan of Robyn. Looks strange, but I'm American so Robin tends to be the spelling over here. My favorite of your options is Anna :)
