I think any of the single or 2 syllable names would be best as anything longer would be too much of a mouthful. I like Jean in particular though.

KeepSmiling89 · 11/09/2020 12:14

Zoe Louise is also lovely. Always liked Louise as a middle name :)

Unseeliequeen · 11/09/2020 12:15

I think mostly all of them could work.

Not so keen on the sound of Zoe Olive or Zoe Beth. Zoe Rae sounds very American but that could just be because of the Rae Alabama.

Do you have a favourite or do you like them all equally?

Babyshine2020 · 11/09/2020 12:16

Zoe Elizabeth is what came into my head before reading your post. I think it sounds lovely

Mrsjayy · 11/09/2020 12:17

Zoe Rae or Jane are my favourites i don't think the others go.

AriettyHomily · 11/09/2020 12:21

App? Sorry it just irritates me they called it Zoe....

TNG74 · 11/09/2020 12:28

@AriettyHomily Yeah the app being called that is annoying, although tbh the only place I've seen it mentioned is mumsnet so I don't think it'll be too much of an issue in real life

I like Zoe Harriet or Zoe Ruth best. Zoe Joy is quite nice too.

PoodleMoth · 11/09/2020 18:14

Really like Zoe but non of theose middle names jump out.
I really dislike Louise as it is such a middle name of the 80s it would really put me off.

TNG74 · 11/09/2020 18:56

Hmm, opinions are all over the place then

Zoe Olive

Not sure if you’re taking suggestions but I think Zoe Irene is lovely and kind of goes with your list...

cptartapp · 11/09/2020 20:21

Zoe Louisa is nice. Not Louise.
Zoe Alexandra.
Zoe Catherine.
Zoe Victoria.
Zoe Elizabeth.
Zoe Kate.

NannyR · 11/09/2020 20:23

I also thought of Zoe Elizabeth before reading your post, I like Zoe Joy too. What about Zoe June as an alternative to Jane or Jean?
I wouldn't be concerned about the app - hopefully by the time she starts school the app won't be in use and will be forgotten about.

OublietteBravo · 11/09/2020 20:26

Louise was the name I thought of before I even clicked on your thread and read the OP. But I also really like both Jane and Jean.

lakeswimmer · 11/09/2020 20:30

Zoe Elizabeth came to mind for me as well but I think the double e might be a bit of a mouthful. I like Zoe Jean.

missmouse101 · 11/09/2020 20:30

Tamsin

Auto · 11/09/2020 20:40

My favourites are

Zoe Jeanette Alabama
Zoe Louise Alabama
Zoe Ruth Alabama

DappledThings · 11/09/2020 21:40

I have a Zoe Jean so I definitely like that! 2 of her great-grandmothers were Jeans.

The app coming along being called Zoe hasn't bothered me. It just seems like a random word and not actually the same word as her name if that makes sense.

itsjakeandamy · 11/09/2020 22:42

I prefer Zoe Harriet of your choices.
I think a short middle name sounds too sing- songy although Zoe Kate works well as Kate is less soft sounding.
How about:
Zoe Eliza
Zoe Flora
Zoe Larissa
Zoe Margot
Zoe Matilda
Zoe

TNG74 · 11/09/2020 22:45

@itsjakeandamy Thanks for the suggestions but names ending in A don't really work with our surname because it starts with an A

OP posts:
MercyBodle · 12/09/2020 03:16

My favourites are:
Zoe Harriet
Zoe Jean
Zoe Jane
Zoe Jeanette (flows well and is unexpected which is a plus and helps the name feel distinctive and personal.)

I put Jane in my favourites even though it is a standard middle, as not used as much as it used to be, and is lovely and traditional.

I dislike Olive and don't think it flows well. Louise, Joy and Rae are bland and feel just like fillers rather than adding anything special.

Elizabeth, Ruth and Beth are all fine and work - I just prefer the others.

Zoe Jane Alabama❔

Zoe Harriet Alabama✔️
Zoe Jeanette Alabama❌
Zoe Louise Alabama✔️
Zoe Olive Alabama❌
Zoe Ruth Alabama❔
Zoe Beth Alabama❔

Honestly I think a two syllabul works better saying it out loud, number one would be louise just by how it sounds

95percentcocoa · 14/09/2020 19:54

Zoe Luisa

ThighthighOfthigh · 15/09/2020 00:23

How about sticking with the Greek theme?

Zoe Eleni

Actually Zoe Ellen is nice.
