Boys names - what else might we like?

We are having a baby boy in a few months and can’t decide on a name - we already have a DD called Rosa.

DH likes Vincent / Vince and I like Ernest / Ernie. (we both like both names but each have a strong preference).

I know these are slightly unusual but we are not opposed to names in the top 100. I also like Albert, I like Gus but I’m not really sure about the long versions of the name.

Any suggestions?

Well Gus is short for Augustus but I can’t say I like any of those names if I’m being honest. Mind you, it’s not my choice to make!

Most little ones I know who are named Vincent go by Vinnie, I’m not that keen personally. I actually really like Ernest/Ernie though!

Gus could be short for Gustav or Angus, or August

I think Rosa and Vincent sound so handsome together?

I feel like maybe Alfred or Leopold would match those names? Maybe Theodore and Nathaniel too, if you don’t mind something a little more popular? I would have said Roman too but I think that’s a little matchy matchy with Rosa.

My DH loved Vinnie.....we settled on Joe. He also liked Dominic (Dom) and Frank.

Vincent and Ernest are really nice

How about Barnaby or Laurence or Tristan or Otis

I love them both! Slightly prefer Vincent.

I know a little Fergus who goes by Gus which I absolutely love!
