Penelope or Violet?

Stuck between these two names. Opinions are appreciated.

They were both on my list! I think they're both beautiful.

Penelope

Love both but Violet clinched it for me. Beautiful name!

Penelope looks and sounds ugly to me.

I used to know a penny. I love that name. I'm actually adding it to my imaginary baby name list now
Violet is also very pretty but being used a lot more now so if that's an issue it's worth considering.

They are both on my list and love that you could have Violet Penelope or Penelope Violet too.

So I am not help whatsoever.

Love both but prefer the nickname Penny to Vi so I'd go with Penelope.

Penelope is gorgeous. It was our name choice if DS had been a girl.

That’s because violent is violent, so that’s why it sounds like that.

Penny is currently super popular. I really don't like it..Penelope is even worse. Violet on the other hand is a beautiful name.

Instead of sighing, you should have proofread or perhaps in future just don’t belittle a name lots of people have (and no, it’s not my name and I don’t personally know anyone with the name).
