DD due in 2 months and nowhere close to choosing a name (although there's time yet!)

Shortlist is:
Phoebe
Nina
Nola

DS is called Teddy and surname begins with H.

Which do you like the best?!

I like all three. I'd wait now until baby is here and see which one suits her best.

hradvice · 04/09/2020 15:16

Nina

I like Phoebe too but Nina sounds stronger. Not keen on Nola

whatausername · 04/09/2020 15:51

Nina 1st
Phoebe 2nd
Nola distant 3rd - it sounds so...wishy washy and weak

Starlight39 · 04/09/2020 15:53

I like Nina best.

Rainbowqueeen · 04/09/2020 15:55

Nina then phoebe.
Phoebe would be a great middle name

pinkpinecone · 04/09/2020 16:05

Nina

Margo34 · 04/09/2020 16:07

Nina.

Teddy and Nina sound nice together. 😊

Shutupyoutart · 04/09/2020 16:10

Phoebe is my fave

SendHelp30 · 04/09/2020 16:11

Nola. Love this name and I think it goes best with Teddy

joystir59 · 04/09/2020 16:12

Nope. I will desist. It's Friday and I'm in a good mood.

emmathedilemma · 04/09/2020 16:38

Teddy & Nina

Pineapple30 · 04/09/2020 16:40

Thanks everyone, Nina in the lead so far...!

@joystir59 not sure what you mean...

Spied · 04/09/2020 16:42

Nina is lovely.
Really dislike the others.

joystir59 · 04/09/2020 16:46

Well OP, I had a white goat called Nina. Nola reminds me of Enola Gay- Google it. Phoebe is tolerable imo

20viona · 04/09/2020 16:47

Nola

CatteStreet · 04/09/2020 16:50

I really like both Phoebe and Nina (think they would actually make good twin names!), but I don't think they work as a first/middle name combination. I think Phoebe just about edges it for me. Not keen on Nola.

whatausername · 04/09/2020 16:53

Enola Gay! I knew it reminded me of something. What an association to have 😳 I remove "distant 3rd" and put a polite "not my style".

Flymetothestars · 04/09/2020 16:55

Love all three but top 2 are Phoebe and Nina. Can't pick between the two of them though as both gorgeous

Lisa78Lemon · 04/09/2020 17:00

Nina reminds me of niña (a Spanish word for little girl so I would find it odd for an adult).
Nola starts with 'No' which I wouldn't choose for a child- you will be shouting No a lot during the toddler phase!
Phoebe is so pretty though not sure if you want a name that ends the same as Teddy (also such a lovely name).
If you like Phoebe, how about Phoenix or Penelope?

AdaColeman · 04/09/2020 17:04

Phoebe is lovely, but I’m not keen on the other names.

micc · 04/09/2020 18:13

I like phoebe! But Nina is also really lovely! Hard choice

FizzyGreenWater · 04/09/2020 18:20

Wow Nola is uniquely horrible, where did that come from?!

Nina and Phoebe seem to have the same vibe to me and are both good.

RainbowCookie · 04/09/2020 18:23

Nola is a brand of mayonnaise where I live

SelmaB · 04/09/2020 18:24

I like Nina

LarkDescending · 04/09/2020 19:07

Phoebe for me, with Nina second. I don’t like Nola.
