Name help!!

I have been in love with the name Cassie since I was a little girl but never used it for DD1 as I wasn't sure of Cassandra and decided on Elizabeth instead (Bea for short), but when I found out I was having another girl it was another contender and would have been an easy pick if it wasn't for DD1 being called Effie by friends since she started her new school. Still love the name but don't want it to sound like an episode of skins. Any thoughts on what to do??

Completely fine. Skins was ages ago (15 years??), and it's not like everyone knew all the characters anyway.

I didn’t make the skins connection and I used to be a massive skins fan. Even if I did I wouldn’t think anything of it. Go for it!

I think Skins is niche enough that it won’t be a problem. I really like Effie and Cassie.

I absolutely loved skins but I had to read your post a few times as I didn’t have a clue what the issue was! I vaguely remember now that there was a Cassie.

I reeeeally don’t like Cassandra or Cassie but I adore Cassiopeia and Cassia is lovely too.

I watched skins and can’t remember any of the character names either so I’d say go for it

Cassie is lovely but I really dislike Cassandra.

I wouldn’t have made the connection. Lovely names! We only recently realised that both of our DDs have the names of recent(ish) Dr Who companions. I don’t think anyone has ever noticed.
