Girl name help!

We've been set on the name Freya for our girl due in 4 weeks but now the ons popular name list is out and gutted it's number 10! DS has a more unique name and I love that it's not common yet not too weird. Others on our list were Summer, Quinn, Skye, Alannah. I like Lavender and Lilac but DH doesn't - too out there?
Any suggestions for other girls names?

I really like alannah and Freya.
Possibly Leah if you like alannah, I don't think either are overly popular, at least not where I am. Having said that I've only come across one Freya in the last 15yrs so I guess it depends where you are

Alannah is lovely! Freya is really nice but the popularity would definitely put me off.

I've worked with children for 18 years and have only ever met 2 Freya's but Summer and Skye are very popular here.

Be careful with Quinn as it could get bullied and called quim instead. Freya is nice and I don’t know of many.

Just use Freya if you really love it!!!

I’d just go with Freya. Another name may never feel right.

As people often point out, no names are as popular now as the popular ones were in previous generations (is the % of girls named Amelia and Olivia is still actually pretty small compared to the number of Sarahs etc).

I absolutely adore the name Quinn- has been on my list for ages!
Alannah is also stunning !

Perhaps you may like the names: Cara, Amalia, Faye, Florence, Sierra, Pippa, Evelina, Autumn and Opal.

Allanah is lovely, and unusual.

Not so keen on Everly/Everleigh. Like the other two names.

I love Quinn too! I don’t think kids these days say Quim, my teens wouldn’t have a clue what it meant.
Not like you’re calling her Fanny is it.

Freya is much nicer than your other suggestions. Personally I would stick with it.

I love the name Freya but also felt it was too popular. We chose Elowen for our daughter. I also like Isadora from your list.

From your new list Primrose is my favourite.

However as others have said if you like Freya I'd go with it. Just because it's popular on a country wide basis doesn't mean it is locally.

DS name doesn't feature on the top 100 in England and Wales but is top 50 here in Scotland. I've still never met another one under 30.

His best friends name is top 20 on that England and Wales list and I've never met another ever.

Love Quinn!! Also really like the name Alara, what do you think?

Sorry I don't like anything on the new list, I'd stick with Freya or alannah
