Lucy slang for Condom?

Dh and I were thinking about Lucy for our baby but my mum says in her day it was slang for condom. I've never heard of this and I'm wondering if she's making it up because she doesn't like the name. Anyone ever heard this used as a slang term?

I am a 32 year old Lucy and have never heard that its another word for condom in my experience. I have had Lucy in the sky with diamonds sung at me a few times but i can't say it ever had a detrimental effect.
