What are the thoughts on this name? I'm not pregnant but trying for my second and I'm daydreaming names and quite love it.

Maeve is beautiful. I don't like Maeva.

Champy87 · 21/08/2020 13:44

I feel like i should like it but it sounds made up to me. I'd go with either Maeve or Ava.

JaffaCakeGal · 21/08/2020 14:13

I liked it but then I saw it's the name of someone off Made in Chelsea so I changed my mind back to Maeve!

BacklashStarts · 21/08/2020 14:21

Is it said May-Va?

Maeve is beautiful. I don't like Maeva. agree

DramaAlpaca · 21/08/2020 15:03

It's OK, but I much prefer Maeve.

AuntieStella · 21/08/2020 15:05

Prefer Maeve

Oneandabean · 21/08/2020 15:13

Maeve is lovely, maeva sounds made up

Whatsyourflava · 21/08/2020 16:55

Prefer it with an E on the end

The made in Chelsea cast did struggle with the name Maeve a bit. I find it quite difficult and unnatural to say for some reason. Maeve just flows much easier

SquirmOfEels · 21/08/2020 20:33

How about going full-on Hoxton and calling her Maevid?

NannyR · 21/08/2020 20:36

I love Maeve and Ava, but don't like Maeva.

Danniiaddy · 22/08/2020 01:21

Not keen on Maeva but I like Maven (May-vun)

MikeUniformMike · 22/08/2020 12:19

Maeve is nice but a bit to similar to May/Mae/May/Maya type names.

I'm not sure how to say Maeve though as I was told on here that it isn't Mayve.
Maeva looks made up, sort of Mae+Ava.
A No from me.

Maven - er no. It's a noun.

namenerd · 22/08/2020 16:39

I really like it- a unique twist on the name Maeve which is rising in popularity!

HD98 · 22/08/2020 17:04

I like it tbh, looks and sounds pretty.
It does sound like a mix between Maeve and Aha, but it is it's own name so Smile
