What do you think?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think it's nice, we have a family friend who's wee girl is called that and she's 3. Suits her and can suit adults too aka Daisy Ridley.

Onestepup · 19/08/2020 08:50

I like it. It's a happy sounding name.

micc · 19/08/2020 09:37

I really like this name, I went to school early 90's-00's and there were 3 in my year..
It's so sweet and pretty. If I didnt know so many people with this name I would of considered it more. My dd loves it! Haha

purpleme12 · 19/08/2020 09:42

I think it's a really lovely name
Would be ones I would have considered

Whatsyourflava · 19/08/2020 10:26

Gorgeous name. Love it

August20 · 19/08/2020 10:31

I still think of it as a nickname as most women named Daisy I know are older ladies who are called Margaret.

But I know a little girl who is just Daisy.

Peachbubble · 19/08/2020 10:32

I like it.

purpleme12 · 19/08/2020 10:33

I wouldn't even think of Margaret when I think of Daisy. I'm not sure how Daisy became a nickname for Margaret originally? It sounds nothing like it!

August20 · 19/08/2020 10:36

@purpleme12

Margaret -> Marguerite (aka Oxeye Daisy as in the plant) -> Daisy

purpleme12 · 19/08/2020 10:38

Oh ok I get it now. Something you wouldn't know unless you knew about plants and flowers!

August20 · 19/08/2020 10:40

Yep it's one of the more obscure nicknames!

DramaAlpaca · 19/08/2020 11:37

It's sweet, but it's on the cutesy side so not my sort of name.

As a childhood diminutive of Margaret it's fine.

Lilybet1980 · 19/08/2020 11:41

I quite like the name in itself, but I can’t stop myself thinking daisy the cow.

Sunshines123 · 19/08/2020 11:56

Beautiful name
X

Oneandabean · 19/08/2020 18:38

It’s really lovely, I would consider it if it wasn’t so popular

Joolsin · 19/08/2020 19:27

I absolutely love it (my Daisy is 26!)

PoodleMoth · 19/08/2020 19:39

It's lovely! I know one a toddler and she always gets compliments on it

frolicmum · 19/08/2020 21:51

Thank you! My little boy is a Louis so I believe this would work x

Love it, I suggested it for DD but DH vetoed it for being a "stripper name" Hmm

MikeUniformMike · 19/08/2020 21:55

Depends on the surname but it's pretty.

Foxinthechickencoop · 19/08/2020 21:55

I love it. Great name. I do know a lot of them though. But that might not put you off. It is a really pretty name.

CharlieBoo · 20/08/2020 19:26

Beautiful name

TenThousandSpoons · 20/08/2020 19:39

Lovely.

kellybean18 · 20/08/2020 20:08

Gonna buck the trend and say it’s a bit bland - sorry! Very popular where I am.

Figgygal · 20/08/2020 20:12

Personally I feel sorry for children with this name

It’s a cutesy name for a child not a grown woman

It’s also the name of a cow or cat

Not a fan
