Considering both of these of a first name. What do you think? I know both are fairly popular but I think both are beautiful names.

Both beautiful
I prefer Grace as I find Eva merges in with Evie and Eve

DustbinTimberlake · 16/08/2020 13:29

They are both gorgeous - I slightly prefer Eva but I can see what Whatsyourflava means about it being confused with similar sounding names. I do love it though and it was on my list for DD.

Spidey66 · 16/08/2020 13:30

Both are lovely, but Grace has the edge.

Greengrapes1357 · 16/08/2020 14:36

Prefer Grace and not as common as a first name (usually a middle name).
Eva's get confused with Evie's and Eve's at my dcs schools.

MikeUniformMike · 16/08/2020 15:23

I don't like Eva at all, so Grace.

pipnchops · 16/08/2020 15:24

Grace

DramaAlpaca · 16/08/2020 17:36

I much prefer Eva.

Firebird83 · 16/08/2020 20:54

I prefer Eva

AKissAndASmile · 16/08/2020 20:57

I love both. Both were on my shortlist and I was edging towards Grace, but DP knew a Grace who was a wrong un so he vetoed it. If we have a DD she will be called Juliet.

Cobblersgal1 · 16/08/2020 20:59

Eva by a mile. I work in education. Never had an Eva. Had MANY Graces.

Layla219 · 16/08/2020 21:31

both really pretty names but i like Grace better

Enterthedragons · 16/08/2020 21:33

Neither. Sorry but both so boring and overused

daisypond · 16/08/2020 21:35

Grace

Whatsyourflava · 16/08/2020 21:36

@Cobblersgal1 That's interesting yes whilst Grace was the number 1 name in 2006 its worth pointing out that if you check the official statistics the number of Grace's has been declining each and every year since then. It's far less popular than it used to be. Dramatically fewer per year, numbers have more than halved!! Probably why I don't any babies called Grace these days. The only ones I know are over 5yo which is as you'd expect if you study the statistics

Love both But my vote is for Grace
