DH and I are so stuck on a sibling name. Sisters are Esme and Stella. We like Henry and Oscar for boy and Nina or Nora for a darling girl but also don’t think they are the ‘one’. We have 4 days until baby should be here! Please help!
Many thanks

Nina?

KingOfDogShite · 04/08/2020 15:15

Ha you said that! I only read the title. At least we’re on the same page 😂

Absolutely! Thank you. We do love Nina. I think I’m being thrown because I’m almost sure it’s a boy and none of the boy names feel ‘right’. My two DD names felt right from the second we picked them early in pregnancy!

I like Esme and Stella so I guess we have similar taste. I also love Nina.

How about Rosa or Eliza? I also like Ned, Angus, Alexander.

I like Alexander but DH doesn’t and I LOVE Romeo but it’s maybe a little too out there for me - I’m very very tempted to add it to the list though!

Esme, Stella and Agnes (nn Ness) or Albert (nn Albie or Bertie). Love the girls names you have already.

DramaAlpaca · 04/08/2020 15:24

Esme, Stella and Tess?

Nina goes OK I think, but not Nora.

Esme, Stella and Henry also go really well together.

Our daughter is called Esme too! Nina was in our maybe list. Our boy list included Gabriel (Gabe), Jude and Murray.

emmathedilemma · 04/08/2020 16:00

I'm firmly in the Nora camp here! Or Cora? Although it seems to be increasingly popular.
Do Esme and Stella ever get shortened? If not, I would stick with something that is less likely to get abbreviated or nick named.
I like both your boys names.
