Hi

I’m 41+3, baby girl is hanging on in there!

Our current list of names is:

Freya
Lyla
Seren
Savannah

These are the ones DP and I can agree on!
I love Sylvie, Mimi, Coco but he’s not having it.

Any other suggestions or thoughts on our list?
Middle name is going to be Louise, Ann, or Anna

Freya and Seren are lovely.

Maybe Lyra, Astrid or Bryony?

Good luck!

I always loved Freya although wouldn't use it now as a few people close to me have used it.

I think Orla has a similar feel to Freya but.is less popular (if that's important to you).

With both names it would need to be Orla Louise or Freya Louise imo as I don't think you could have a first name ending in A and a middle name starting in A, it doesn't flow well.

Good luck x

Thanks for all your suggestions!
We’ve been through most of them and discounted mainly because of other people we know who have kids with those names.
I do love Astrid. Indie and Orla but DH not keen..
I’m really pleased our list has been received well though. Hopefully when we see baby’s little face one of the names will suit her and make the decision for us !

Ah you have a lovely list @Soph88888

I really like Freya
Savannah is nice but I find it a bit too frilly and over complicated - I'd just use Hannah

How about Delilah if you like Lyla (am not taking my own advice about over complicated names am I!)

Margaret /Maggie/Peggy
Clementine/Clemmie
Pearl
Roxanne/Roxanna/Roseanne
Ottilie /Ottie
Cora

Freya
Lyla
Seren
Savannah

Seren is my fave from this list. Freya I like but it's very, very popular where I am. Lyla I'm not sure on. Savannah I dont like but think that's because it's a bit 'celeb' for me.

Some suggestions in case you like them:
Lyra instead of Lyla
Delilah instead of Lyla
Faye
Fifi (similar vibe to Mimi and Coco)
Sienna
Sabrina
Sylvia
Violet

OverTheRainbow88 · 04/08/2020 11:37

I love Seren the most from your list

rainbowstardrops · 04/08/2020 11:37

Coco is so lovely!!!!! I hope your DH budges!

Seren is really pretty. I've worked in a primary school for ten years and I've never taught a Seren or Coco yet.

emmathedilemma · 04/08/2020 11:40

Freya Louise or Freya Ann for me

Ricekrispie22 · 04/08/2020 12:19

Hazel
Sienna
Imogen
Heather
India
Flora
Violet
Theodora
Colette
Meredith

Spidey66 · 04/08/2020 12:38

I like Seren from your list. I'm not keen on the others, but would like Leila/Layla as opposed to Lyla.

123Dancewithme · 04/08/2020 18:16

Freya

PoodleMoth · 04/08/2020 20:26

Lyla! I know 2 Coco's and they are both lovely!

MikeUniformMike · 05/08/2020 09:33

Freya - nice enough but overused
Lyla - awful, sorry, so many L* names around.
Seren - awful
Savannah - Chavannah

Middle name is going to be Louise, Ann, or Anna - all fine
