I love Noah as the first name. Do you think it all flows?

I think it's a nice name & flows well

MrsGilly1 · 29/07/2020 00:32

Lovely name and flows beautifully X

Sojo88 · 29/07/2020 00:32

Love the name Noah - a beautiful name overall.

Reader1984 · 29/07/2020 01:12

Fab

DramaAlpaca · 29/07/2020 01:28

Yes, it flows fine.

I'll say that even though Noah is probably my least favourite name (sorry). Love James, though, my very favourite name.

Heh1991 · 29/07/2020 01:39

Lovely combination x

YourWinter · 29/07/2020 01:50

All three names go well, but the middle name will never be used.
Noah Bennett, said quickly... 'Nob Innit'

Gummibares · 29/07/2020 06:33

I'm not sure if this is a wind up or not?

Smiling89 · 29/07/2020 06:37

Isn't Noah Bennett the guy with the "horn rimmed glasses" from Heroes? Not that it's a bad name or terrible character to have the same name as.

Dontjudgeme101 · 29/07/2020 08:09

I love it!

GoshHashana · 30/07/2020 09:31

So ordinary! Noah isn't a name - more a series of weak sounds. Every boy born since 2012 has the middle name James. Your surname is cool though.

JacquelineLadyBugg · 30/07/2020 09:41

I think Noah James Bennett is lovely, but think the middle name will get left out quite a lot, so it will be Noah Bennett, unless you are going to call him 'Noah James' day to day.

Noah Bennett I am not totally in love with and I don't know why... it sounds a bit disjointed to me. Again though, not a big deal. It is far from a bad name.

Noah is very popular and so is James as a middle name. But if that doesn't bother you it isn't a big deal.

Do you have anything else on your list or is this your absolute 'one'?

On an irrelevant side note, Bennett was on my baby name list for DS as a first name! One of the few surnames which I think is lovely as a first name. Very cool surname.

finallychangedmyusername · 30/07/2020 10:41

Nice name, but as previous posters have said, James is possibly THE most common boys middle name (I believe the government baby names don't collect data on middle names, sadly). It flows beautifully though.

Alternatives to James if you wanted a less common middle name:

Noah Jonathan Bennett
Noah Jude Bennett
Noah Joel Bennett
Noah Miles Bennett
Noah Lucas Bennett
Noah Jonas Bennett
Noah Jake Bennett
Noah Rex Bennett
Noah Seth Bennett

Hortensien · 30/07/2020 11:25

Noah sounds like a long whiny No. I'm not a fan.

And James is indeed the most common middle name. It's become a filler name imo.

How about a meaningful family name?

YourWinter · 31/07/2020 00:32

I absolutely love the name James, it's perfect as a first name if you like it, perfect as a middle name whether you like it or you're not fussed, simply because 99.9% of people don't use middle names in any aspect of everyday life. Who fills in forms very often? Even then, it's written, not spoken. More often than not, the middle name is the one the kid grows up apologetically explaining why they were given it. Unlucky kids have to do that with the first name too!

MikeUniformMike · 31/07/2020 22:17

The middle name is not all that important, but James is fine.
Not that keen on Noah. I just hear No.

I'd pick a stronger first name. Gordon must be due a comeback. Wink

Kind of true Blush

TempsPerdu · 31/07/2020 23:30

It’s fine - perfectly inoffensive. But my friend announced exactly this combo for her new baby just this morning, and my neighbour’s toddler has exactly the same name - so I have to say it’s terribly, terribly dull!

Puppilangstrumpfi · 01/08/2020 07:38

Noah sounds like a long No. I don't find it a nice sounding name.

ejs11 · 01/08/2020 10:51

I love the name Noah and think the name sounds lovely together!

MinnieJackson · 01/08/2020 17:48

I really like it
