So...boy and girl twins due in 4 wks & we’ve agreed on a boy’s name : Rory Michael.

Thoughts?

@ToyKitchenSink Yes, you’ve missed the fact that the boy twin will be called Rory Michael whatever their surname is. The OP hasn’t posted the girl’s name. She isn’t calling one twin Rory and one twin Michael!

Lovely, but depends on the surname. Rory Rowlands or similar will be too many Rs.

Ignore me though. I can't seem to comprehend simple English!

I live both names and have both on my list for DC2, but weirdly don't like them together.

However you're rarely going to use a middle name (DS has two middle names that are only ever used in official documents) so I'd just ignore me and go for it

My main thought is that you've already agreed the name, so it doesn't matter what a load of strangers on the internet think of it. You like it, you've chosen it, that's the end of the matter.

To be honest I don't like it - it's just a bit of a mouthful - Michael Rory sounds better

DH went off it!
Our twins were born a week early - on Tuesday 18th August. We are beyond ecstatic.
We named them: Clara Florence & Joseph Michael.
