I like this name but has it actually come back into fashion? I can't decide, interested to see what others think. Really struggling for a boys name this time. My dd is called Annabelle so cant have a name that is too out there as I don't feel it would match so going traditional x

I would have thought it’s very popular actually since Prince George ..maybe too popular?

PixieDust1986 · 27/07/2020 21:07

I think it's a lovely name, but I would say yes, there are lots of little George's around at the moment.
I'm a primary teacher and we've had at least one in every year group for a good few years now.

Love George! It's a wonderful name for a boy.

I think it's lovely. I personally don't know any George's under the age of 3. Not as popular where I live as Arthur, Alfie etc

echodot · 27/07/2020 21:31

I love that name! I have 2 daughters, but would definitely had George for a boy

It's a massive snooze of a name to me, sorry.

MummaSt · 28/07/2020 16:38

Love it

borisjohnsonsstylist · 28/07/2020 18:07

It's a good, solid name. Was always on my boys list.

Also, don't worry about matching sibling names.

AnnieMaul · 28/07/2020 18:23

I don't think it's ever gone out of fashion has it? Perhaps the occasional spike in popularity but I feel like i've consistently known George's of all age groups throughout my life.

JacquelineLadyBugg · 28/07/2020 19:15

I like George. It is common, but I don't think it's as common as Oliver, Charlie or Harry for example.

How about:

Edward
William
Henry
Thomas
Max

It’s very, very popular. #2 in the most recent stats.
